This clock is specifically what I was looking for. I have an old 1966 truck that I wanted to place a clock in. I have been to numerous auto components shops looking for an uncomplicated to read clock that had a huge display. I also wanted it to have background lighting so I could read it at night. I had no luck at all locating was I was searching for till I identified this clock on amazon. This clock is perfect for my needs. It is hassle-free to plan and the display is good and substantial. It is straightforward to read from all angles in the cab of the truck. Reading it in the dark is uncomplicated as well. You do have to momentarily push the top suitable button to make the back-light come on. If it was back lit all the time I am certain the battery life would be fairly short. It does come with strips of velcro and screws for installation. I just glued a smaller magnet on the battery cover and stuck it to the dash. A lot of older vehicles have metal dashboards. If you are searching for clock to stick up in a little spot that has a decent display. I assume this one particular is for you.

This clock is excellent at keeping time...I've had it a variety of weeks now. But, it is NOT simple to read at just about every angle. I have a mini van and my clock went bad and it would price a lot of funds to fix, so I installed this small sucker. Preserve in thoughts if you are in a truck/van, your clock is lower than eye level, and I cannot see this little issue. The light is perfect...you have to buy one particular with a light if you are installing it in a car. I left it in the van, then again, it is basically not functional for me. Do not get this if you want to see it lower than eye level.
